Many of you following my page know I’ve been working to overcome a fear of dogs in recent years! Look at all this progress! Today Wayne Peterson with Minnesota Wild showed me how to get a handshake from Brooksy and give him a treat! The Wild adopted Brooksy, the team dog, from Coco's Heart Dog Rescue, a local non-profit organization that rescues dogs from unfortunate situations. While under the team’s care, Brooksy has received basic training from Wild staff, preparing him for service training.
