Boxed cake mix can be made into something amazing with just a few additional ingredients. Use melted butter instead of oil and milk or half and half instead of water. Add a teaspoon of vanilla and almond for bakery style flavor and homemade buttercream to finish it off. I made a filling with a container of sour cream, a cup of sugar and flaked coconut.
