A Biophysical Profile Profile (BPP) is a test done in the third trimester to assess fetal well-being. The baby is given a score out of eight, with each of the criteria being a 2 if the criteria is meant or a zero if it is not. The lower the BPP score, the more concern there is for fetal well-being. The 4 criteria are: 1. Fetal breathing (at least 30 continuous seconds of fetal breathing in a 30 minute time frame) 2. Fetal Movement (at least 3 discrete movements in a 30 minute time frame) 3. Feta
