1928 Crossley OE128 Air Start valve admission valve repair. The air start admission valve in the cylinder head opens when the timed valve lets air into the cylinder to start the engine, it has a spring to return it to its seat when the engine runs, but just to make sure it seals on the seat it has a hand wheel that physically keeps the valve closed. Unfortunately the cast iron hand wheel in the past has been damaged so today Ken machined the parts to enable the replacement handwheel to be fitted
