The shape was perfect, but that orange ‘90s stain and dated feet had to go. So I flipped it over, built a stepped base from some 3x2 I grabbed from @bandq_uk, and while I was there I couldn’t resist this incredible reeded trim — it’s got that timeless look I love 👌 After sanding and realising some of the wood was veneer, I leaned into a rich dark stain i
