🚀 From Québec to the Moon 🇨🇦🌕 In 1969, when Apollo 11 touched down on the lunar surface, the world watched in awe. What few people knew is that a crucial part of that landing was engineered in Québec. A company based in Longueuil, Héroux Machine Parts (now Héroux-Devtek), manufactured key components of the lunar module’s landing gear — the legs that absorbed the impact and kept Eagle standing on the Moon. These parts had to perform flawlessly in extreme conditions, with no margin for error.
