The @usafdrillteam recently performed at the @edinburghtattoo and did extremely well. The Chair Step Mark Time was originally developed in the 1950s as a marching band step technique called "6 to 5" which means it takes six steps to travel five yards on a football field. The more modern "8 to 5", the Straight Leg Technique (the knee bends very little, it's mostly hip and ankle) means it takes eight steps to travel the same distance.
