Oracle’s Azure-OCI interconnect and Database@Azure let OpenAI run Oracle databases and GPU compute seamlessly with Azure.
The deal makes Microsoft IREN’s largest customer, with $1.94 billion in annualized revenue expected over the next five years.
The deal will give Microsoft access to compute infrastructure built with Nvidia's GB300 GPUs, which will be deployed over phases through 2026.
