Windows finally fixes a shutdown bug that had users second-guessing themselves for years. And now update and shut down works the way it always should have.
The fix is arriving through the optional KB5067036 update for Windows 11 25H2, which Microsoft began rolling out last week.
The company says it is still investigating the issue and has not yet released a fix.
